Morro Bay White Caps

Brenda Hascall was appointed conductor in spring of 2022.  She holds a B.A in music performance from California State University Northridge, and a  M.A. in band conducting from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University.  She is a retired music educator whose career spanned 28 years on the central coasting teaching students at all grade levels.  Brenda is an award winning music composer, guest conductor, and a saxophonist.  Brenda is married to band member Brian Hascall (Trumpet) and the two of them have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.          

Keith Waibel was appointed as Assistant Conductor in spring of 2022.  He is an established clarinet player in multiple ensembles on the central coast, and was a professor of music at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo for 30 years.  Prior to teaching at Cal Poly he was employed as a music educator in the public school system.
